A well-funded, mission-driven fintech company is seeking senior software engineers with applied Clojure experience to expand their remote-first engineering team.

The company is focused on scaling its digital lending platform, helping borrowers reduce debt, and has refinanced over $6B in loans to date. Role: Software Engineer (Clojure)

Key Responsibilities

✓   Build and maintain clean, well-tested APIs in Clojure.

✓   Contribute to scalable, production-grade systems in a lending platform.

✓   Provide direct, constructive feedback on PRs.

✓   Leverage AI tools to increase productivity.

Required Experience

✓   At least 4 years of total software engineering experience (does not need to be 4 years of Clojure experience)

✓   Practical, hands-on Clojure experience (not just coursework; building in production environments)

✓   Strong grasp of functional programming concepts (Elixir, Scala, Haskell, or Lisp experience can be relevant if combined with applied Clojure exposure)

✓   English proficiency (can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read)

✓   Comfort with start-up pace and culture; high sense of ownership and accountability

✓   Open communicator who values feedback and collaborative problem-solving
